The Gyroscope team partnered with BrainX to address the challenge of maintaining consistent head positioning during dental procedures. The client sought a comprehensive solution for precise head orientation tracking. They also required facial movement monitoring to provide real-time, accurate positioning data.

The goal was to reduce manual intervention, improve procedural outcomes, and enhance patient experience through advanced sensor integration and visual tracking. BrainX developed a native Android app integrating dual 9-axis gyroscope sensors and camera-based facial recognition. It leverages Visage SDK technology for precise and efficient facial tracking.

MOHE BioTech, a leading company based in Switzerland, required development support to update its existing iOS application and build an Android counterpart for its digital health screening and monitoring platform. The project involved implementation support across mobile apps, backend components, QA, and project coordination.
MOHE partnered with BrainX for technical resources and implementation support across selected platform components. Our team collaborated with MOHE to support the development of Android and iOS app features connected with their portable, wireless μTest and μReader devices, focusing on mobile app modernization, device connectivity, and maintainable implementation within MOHE’s defined product framework.

MOHE’s μTest device supports analysis of up to 12 health indicators and is designed for quick use at home or while traveling. The digital platform supports connected user workflows for measurement handling, device interaction, and data viewing based on MOHE’s product design and requirements.

BrainX supported implementation across selected iOS, Android, backend, and web-based data lab components. The work focused on mobile app updates, Android development, device connectivity support, firmware update flows, settings customization, and related backend implementation:

• Mobile App Modernization
  We implemented modern UI components and material design principles to improve usability within the mobile apps. Our team used Swift 5.8 for iOS updates and Kotlin with Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) architecture for Android development to create maintainable and responsive app components.
• Data Management
  The BrainX team implemented local data storage support using CoreData for the iOS app updates and Room Database for the Android app, based on the data handling requirements defined for the platform.
• App-Level Data Synchronization
  We supported app-level data synchronization workflows using Retrofit to help mobile components communicate reliably with the relevant backend services.
• Stability Monitoring
  We incorporated Firebase Crashlytics to support crash reporting, stability monitoring, and faster identification of app-level issues.
• Efficient Development
  The use of dependency injection with Dagger-Hilt, along with ViewBinding and DataBinding, helped streamline Android development and support easier maintenance of the app codebase.
• Backend Implementation Support
  The BrainX team supported backend implementation by applying standard practices for data encryption, access control, and data handling according to the platform’s technical requirements. These efforts supported secure technical implementation while MOHE retained responsibility for the overall platform framework and product governance.
• Separate Build Configurations
  We implemented separate build configurations for the iOS and Android apps to support specific settings for development, testing, and deployment environments.

The app was supposed to help riders enjoy their biking experience and keep track of their rides. So, one of the biggest challenges in developing a connected dashboard app for bikes was ensuring that it’s easy to use while on the go.

Many existing apps are difficult to read or operate while riding, and they can be disconnected from other apps and the bike itself. So, to overcome these issues, the app uses modes to allow riders to quickly switch between various screens at the touch of a button.

The key innovation in the app is the IF module and Thumb Controller that connect to the eBike motor and the phone via Bluetooth. Once connected, riders can control their bikes and access the app's features without looking down at their phone, improving their situational awareness and safety.

The app offers several other unique features, such as:

• Find-a-bike feature: Allows riders to see the location of other bikes using the app, and it’s handy when riding with others.
• Flash messaging: Riders can quickly send messages to other users on the app using this feature.
• The Hawkeye rear camera feature: Uses AI to detect vehicles approaching from behind the rider.
• Tours: A feature that allows riders to follow a scenic route from one point to another.

Non-adherence to medication claims the lives of about 125,000 people each year. Medesto was created to address this medicine adherence issue, saving lives and improving health outcomes. The project “Medesto” is an evolved form of an earlier solution named Tespo. Tespo's integrated, in-home technology has helped reinvent the vitamin by introducing a new category of nutritional supplements.

At the touch of a button, Tespo's patent-pending customized Pods and WiFi-connected vitamin dispenser delivered a personalized liquid vita-shot. This whole system was connected to a smartphone app that helped track every intake of the patient. As a consequence, people were able to take their vitamins on a regular basis, track their progress, and obtain better results.
