Initially, team BrainX was contacted through a series of emails. Once the project started taking shape, verbal communication increased between team members from both sides. The app requirements and specifications were established after numerous detailed meetings.
The Hawkeye app designs and prototypes were built, exchanged, and finalized soon after. Once the development started, a working product was delivered after each sprint as our company adopted the Agile methodology to see the project through.
SOLUTION
The app was supposed to help riders enjoy their biking experience and keep track of their rides. So, one of the biggest challenges in developing a connected dashboard app for bikes was ensuring that it’s easy to use while on the go.
Many existing apps are difficult to read or operate while riding, and they can be disconnected from other apps and the bike itself. So, to overcome these issues, the app uses modes to allow riders to quickly switch between various screens at the touch of a button.
The key innovation in the app is the IF module and Thumb Controller that connect to the eBike motor and the phone via Bluetooth. Once connected, riders can control their bikes and access the app's features without looking down at their phone, improving their situational awareness and safety.
The app offers several other unique features, such as:
- Find-a-bike feature: Allows riders to see the location of other bikes using the app, and it’s handy when riding with others.
- Flash messaging: Riders can quickly send messages to other users on the app using this feature.
- The Hawkeye rear camera feature: Uses AI to detect vehicles approaching from behind the rider.
- Tours: A feature that allows riders to follow a scenic route from one point to another.

After successfully providing bike security and improving the user experience for riders with its iOS app, Skillion Inc. is ready to take on the Android side of the market with the help of team BrainX. Baritastic as a company was acquired by one of our previous clients named Tespo and was immediately handed over to BrainX for all development-related tasks based on our unparalleled and reliable development services. The task at hand was to revamp and maintain the current version of the mobile app for both Android and iOS platforms
APPROACH
Since this app was initially being handled by another team, BrainX had a big challenge to first set foot in the app’s backend environment. The app was built using the CakePHP frameworks, which were pretty old to manage along with future requirements. In addition to that, there were some UI/UX-related issues that were hampering the experience & overall performance of the product.
Baritastic’s user base was quite large which means a lot of data to be processed. It generally took minutes instead of seconds to get the required response from the backend, therefore optimizing the backend was one of the major technical challenges to be addressed by BrainX. . Therefore, after grabbing all the necessary instructions for Baritastic, a team of expert backend engineers was formed. Later on, our core mobile development team jumped in to ensure sound builds with particular attention to the accuracy of those health tracker APIs.

That’s why Priority AG started ideating a unique platform Blutwerte, translated as Blood values, to help digitize anyone’s medical records securely and anonymously. So, the next time you or one of your family members visit the doctor, you don’t have to fret over finding, carrying, or misplacing old healthcare records.
Another vision for the platform was to help you track your health records and notify whether you or your loved ones are in proper shape. Upon finding any deviation in the blood values, you will receive an evaluation of the issue and how it might have occurred.
Given the project's scope, Priority AG understood they required a mobile and web app to make the platform functional.

Following this train of thought, a system was required that allows you to call for a reliable person to take care of your plumbing, gardening, or house cleaning needs, etc.
Thus, Yellper came into form and BrainX was contacted to figure out all things necessary to make this project work. Our team moved forward with a pairing of web & mobile apps to put this platform together.
APPROACH
The specifications of such a complex project take a lot of work to tie down. However, Team BrainX ultimately settled on the requirements after conducting numerous meetings with all pertinent stakeholders.
After the discovery phase, once everyone agreed upon the designs of the complete system, we started delivering the product while applying the Agile methodology. With each sprint’s end, a product was handed over for testing and getting feedback.
SOLUTION
It was a fresh start for the platform, so Team BrainX worked on everything from scratch. A highly interactive user interface was designed to allow anyone to use the app conveniently on their mobile device.
Two mobile apps were rolled out. One for Android using Kotlin and another for iOS developed through Swift. While the web app, used for gaining admin control of the mobile apps, was programmed with the MERN stack.

So, to keep the process running smoothly, the schools have a significant incentive to retain such students in any (legal) way possible.
AdvanceNet Labs along with their co-partners Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) saw this gap in the market and decided to come up with a product that could help both the students and the educational institutions.
